FAQs
How do we become a sponsor?
If you would like to contribute substantially to VAPUG, you can do that by providing financial help or some substantial resource. Please call us to the details. You will be recognized on the website and during the meetings, as appropriate. Sponsoring the VAPUG will help the Progress community and everyone appreciates that.
Will my name and email address be given to anyone else?
No. Not even to us. When you join VAPUG we collect your name, email address, mailing address and phone number for contact purposes regarding VAPUG only. Your information will not be given to any other party nor will it be used for any other purpose.
Who are the VAPUG sponsors?
The primary sponsor of VAPUG is Allegro Consultants. They have organized the meetings and paid the bills since 1993. They are committed to the Progress community and specialize in Progress programming and related services. Their website is here. For a number of years now, Progress Software has also been a reliable sponsor of VAPUG. They have contributed prizes, trinkets, free tickets, speakers and other resources that have improved the quality of our meetings. You can thank them by buying more Progress products or sending Karen Boles a Thank-you-gram here or tell her boss what a great job sheÂ’s doing here.
