Prudential UK Turns to FUSE Products for Automated Processing
To make its I.T. infrascture more agile, Prudential UK has deployed the Progress® FUSE ESB® (enterprise service bus) in its annuities business unit. It uses FUSE ESB to connect its complex back-end systems, which will enable automated processing to support its Annuities Operation.The organization will use a suite of resuable web services to determine calculated returns for different annuity products.

Wilmes of Progress Software Named Distinguished Fellow
John Wilmes, Chief Technology Architect in the Communications sector at Progress, was named a Distinguished Fellow by the TM Forum. The Distinguished Fellow Award recognizes individuals, who have made valuable contributions to the TM Forum and to the communications industry as a whole.

Bates Invited to Join Technology Advisory Committee
Dr. John Bates, Progress Software's chief technology officer (CTO), has been asked to be a member of the newly established Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
