This white paper provides instructions for configuring the OpenEdge™ Web Services Adapter (WSA) and AppServer™ Internet Adapter (AIA) with the Tomcat Java™ Servlet Engine (JSE) with Microsoft IIS. It assumes that Tomcat and IIS are already installed and operational. This involves installing the Tomcat “IIS Redirector” which allows let IIS to send servlet requests to Tomcat. Included are instructions for running the Progress AppServer Internet Adapter (AIA) and Web Service Internet Adapter (WSA) with the isapi redirector. Specifically, this configuration and the instructions were tested on Windows 2000 and XP using Tomcat 4.1.30 with JAVA 1.4.1_03.
