Latest OpenEdge Release Focuses on Advanced User Interface Flexiblity
Advanced User Interface (UI) flexibility is the focus of enhancements in the most recent version of Progress® OpenEdge®. According to Progress, "The latest version reduces the time required to develop applications that can simultaneously deploy through multiple UIs, vital as demand increases for those applications that need to be reached via both traditional web browsers, and through mobile devices."
With its boost in flexibility, performance, and the amount of user-interface technology support, this new OpenEdge release "expands the richness and reach for developing SaaS applications, with an understanding of who the user is and how they need to interact with the system," according to Progress. More than 100 pre-packaged controls for advanced features such as calendars and grids are offered by Progress.
