Infor, the provider of business software including SX .enterprise has launched cloud-based versions of its most popular software. The cloud-based versions, called "Infor24" are now available for expense management, asset management, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). The company also plans to release next-generation solutions like the Infor24 Expense Management in 2011 using the Windows Azure environment.   According to Infor, "These future solutions will be delivered from Microsoft Azure datacenters, and optimized to run using Azure technologies, including SQL Azure." After extensive research, Infor found that Microsoft was the "most flexible and robust platform provider across on-premise and cloud-based applications."
